Tis the season for Baseball!

Grandpa Van claims to be a 4th generation Yankee Fan. Angela's cousin Chris was born and raised in New York and is an avid Yankee fan. She brought this outfit back from New York so it is official. Thanks Chris, we love it!!!

The first time Ryan met my family, he was asked which professional baseball team he liked. Ryan, knowing it was a loaded question so decided to play his cards safe and said, "The Idaho Falls Chukars." This brought a great laugh and everyone knew he would fit right in. He claims to be a 2nd generation Chukars Fan.

We took pictures with both paraphernalia and we'll let you choose what team you think he will choose.

Linden gets professional pictures

We went to Kiddie Kandids and got pictures of Linden. He wasn't too sure about the adventure and was kind of fussy until they turned on the vaccuum. Then he was perfect and we got some great pictures. We think he is the cutest little guy in the whole wide world according to us!

Linden meets his cousin Maddy

Linden and Maddy love each other. Maddy was born on July 5 so they are close in age. Linden can't wait to meet his other cousins born this summer.

Linden is blessed

Here is a four generation picture of Linden, Kelly, Ryan Kelly and Linden Ryan.

Linden poses with Great-Grandpa Linden and Great-Grandma Anne.

He loves his grandparents!

24th of July

Ryan, our fearless City Councilman, was very excited to be in the parade and to throw candy. He and Van have great arms and pelted us with Tootsie Rolls.

Ryan and cousin Lindsey ready to fight for the candy.

Linden was dressed All-American for the festivities. And truly enjoyed them as he slept in his stroller.

Trip to Bear Lake!

Linden went to Bear Lake when he was a little over 3 weeks old. He lived the life of Riley as he slept in the tent provided by Uncle Wes (he is brilliant) protected from sun and wind. He woke up to eat and loved the sandy beach! Ryan and I waded in the water while Grandma Greta watched Linden for a minute.

Baby loves Geocaching!

We took him Geocaching when he was a week old. He loved it. Here is a picture of Ricks Springs up Logan Canyon! You can see Ryan in the background exploring.

New Arrival!! Linden Ryan Beckstead

Linden was born June 25 at 9:08 a.m. He was 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. After 27 hours of labor we were glad he had finally arrived. This is a picture of him in the NICU where he spent his time in the hospital. He had low blood sugar and as you can see from the picture had an IV in his hand pumping sugar water into him.
