Big Boy!

Linden is changing a lot. He is a Lil' Man just like his bib says.
He isn't eating solid foods yet, but is learning how to use a cup and spoon and is sitting in his big boy chair during meals. You might notice the puffy eyes in the sippy cup picture. He was sick. We were both sick for a couple of weeks, hence no new blogs. We are finally healthy and he is so fun. He weighed in at 18 pounds a couple of weeks ago.

Good Night!

Good night, happy dreams, see you in the morning, I love you!!

Like Father, Like Son!

They are both so into the TV everything else gets tuned out!

So Much Fun!

Uncle Jordan held Linden for the first time. Linden smiled and laughed at him and thought he was the best. They bonded. We're glad Jordan came to visit.

Halloween

Linden went as a baby pumpkin for Halloween.

A family portrait of the whole pumpkin family.

Linden went trick or treating to Grandma and Grandpa Beckstead.

Grandma's Birthday

We went to Idaho Falls for Grandma Linda's birthday. She turned 39. Linden loved seeing Grandma and Grandma was glad to see us.

Linden finally got to meet Great-Grandpa Kail and Great-Grandma Pat. They were soo excited to see him.

Twirp and Scott went to a Halloween party while we were there. They dressed up as a 40's couple. We thought they looked good.

Linden has something to say

Linden is discovering his voice. So we thought you might like to hear it.

Linden is getting big!

I take so long to blog that usually the pictures are old. I am adding this picture that was just taken today to show you all that don't get to see him every day how big he actually is. He is sitting in his bumbo chair. He loves it. He has found his voice and talks all of the time.

Meeting two more cousins.

He is posed with Kelsey Kilpatrick. She was born July 5; just 10 days after Linden. They are pretty close to the same size. What a cutie.

Here he is posed with Joshua David Mayeski. Josh is about six or seven weeks younger than Linden. He sure is a cutie. He and Linden will be great friends.

It's getting cold!

We went for a walk and Linden had to be bundled up. I couldn't resist taking the picture because he looked so cute. He's not sure he likes to be bundled at first.

The Outlaws!

I had to include this picture. We paused for a picture during the rain storm at Lagoon.

Lagoon! We had a great time with Ry's family.

Linden's first ride on a Merry Go Round. He loved it!

Ry took his niece Elise on a ride. They got a little wet.

We were waiting to go on Rattle Snake Rapids. It was a rainy day and we remained wet after this ride. We don't get to Lagoon enough to miss out on our favorite ride.

We rode on the train at the end of the day and as you can see, Linden was tired. He was such a good baby all day and I would say he actually enjoyed his first trip to Lagoon.

Linden Loves to Play!

Linden has discovered toys and loves to play with and touch everything. He has started putting things into his mouth.

Ry poses with his new barbeque grill! He is pretty happy to have it and is a pretty good cook!

Coon Skin Cap!

Grandpa Van & Grandma Greta brought Linden back this cap from Yellowstone. He looks so cute!

Linden's new trick

Linden has learned to roll from his stomach to his back. It was hard to get it on video because he is a fickle performer.

Beckstead Family Reunion

This is us staying in Grandma's and Grandpa's trailer. Really roughing it, huh? Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Here we are playing "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?" We found out that Grandpa was, but Uncle Sid wasn't. Sid had harder questions and we think Grandpa cheated. As soon as we finished the game a storm rolled in.

So now everyone has scrambled for shelter. We all packed inside Kelly and Linda's trailer. Aunt Pat came and told us that we were moving dinner to Jill and Rob's house. Fortunately for us the have a nice house that is only 2 miles away from the campground.

After dinner several of the cousins played Rock Band. It was a blast. We had the volume cranked up and everyone was getting into it. Grandpa came down to watch and promptly fell asleep on the couch.

Baby backpack

Linden loves his new baby backpack. Thanks Kori, Dave, Marlee and Josh!

Linden meets more cousins

Linden met two more of his cousins born this summer, Sienna and Pearl Jones. They are so cute. He has Kelsey and Josh left to meet, and he can't wait.

Tis the season for Baseball!

Grandpa Van claims to be a 4th generation Yankee Fan. Angela's cousin Chris was born and raised in New York and is an avid Yankee fan. She brought this outfit back from New York so it is official. Thanks Chris, we love it!!!

The first time Ryan met my family, he was asked which professional baseball team he liked. Ryan, knowing it was a loaded question so decided to play his cards safe and said, "The Idaho Falls Chukars." This brought a great laugh and everyone knew he would fit right in. He claims to be a 2nd generation Chukars Fan.

We took pictures with both paraphernalia and we'll let you choose what team you think he will choose.

Linden gets professional pictures

We went to Kiddie Kandids and got pictures of Linden. He wasn't too sure about the adventure and was kind of fussy until they turned on the vaccuum. Then he was perfect and we got some great pictures. We think he is the cutest little guy in the whole wide world according to us!

Linden meets his cousin Maddy

Linden and Maddy love each other. Maddy was born on July 5 so they are close in age. Linden can't wait to meet his other cousins born this summer.

Linden is blessed

Here is a four generation picture of Linden, Kelly, Ryan Kelly and Linden Ryan.

Linden poses with Great-Grandpa Linden and Great-Grandma Anne.

He loves his grandparents!

24th of July

Ryan, our fearless City Councilman, was very excited to be in the parade and to throw candy. He and Van have great arms and pelted us with Tootsie Rolls.

Ryan and cousin Lindsey ready to fight for the candy.

Linden was dressed All-American for the festivities. And truly enjoyed them as he slept in his stroller.

Trip to Bear Lake!

Linden went to Bear Lake when he was a little over 3 weeks old. He lived the life of Riley as he slept in the tent provided by Uncle Wes (he is brilliant) protected from sun and wind. He woke up to eat and loved the sandy beach! Ryan and I waded in the water while Grandma Greta watched Linden for a minute.
