Our Flood!

We had a flood in our front yard. Yes, Ryan and Linden are in our canoe and it was deep enough that they are floating. They actually floated to our neighbor's house. The ground was still frozen so the melting snow from a nearby field flooded our neighborhood.

Nascar!

Linden's first Nascar Race. He loves watching cars so him and daddy were pretty glued to the race.

He was glued until he found the snacks. According to Ryan, Nascar and snacks go hand in hand. Unfortunately for Linden, he was unable to feast on the snacks. He loves to eat!!

Winter Fun!

We went to Hardware Ranch with Quinn & Kristy on Valentine's Day. Linden loved riding on the sleigh and looking at the elk.

Ryan has been very busy with school this semester, but I made him take a break one Saturday so Linden could play in the snow. They made snow angels and we made a sled out of a Tupperware lid so Linden could have the experience. We're not sure what he thought!!

We attended the annual Beckstead Christmas party and had a great time. Linden participated in his first musical chairs game and got a chance to hit the pinata. I think Daddy was particularly glad for the chance to help Linden because he is so old and hasn't had a chance to hit it for a while. It goes from youngest to oldest.

Merry Christmas in February!

We had a very fun Christmas. We celebrated first at with Grandma Greta and Grandpa Paco the Monday before Christmas. Nat, Paul, and Sydney came home and we were all together. It was so fun! Linden got a rocking chair with his name on it. He loves it. There was also a visit from Santa and one of his Elves.

On Christmas Day we celebrated at Grandma Kelly and Grandma Linda's with Ryan's whole family. We had a great time. We also went to Ryan's Grandpa Kail and Grandma Pat's for dinner. Notice our matching pajamas. I made those and am pretty proud.

Linden loved the paper and was very spoiled with presents and loved playing with his toys, but here is what he really thought about Christmas!!

Linden Eats Rice Cereal!

A week before Christmas we decided to give Linden some solid food. He made a mess at first and more came back out than went in.

Big Boy!

Linden is changing a lot. He is a Lil' Man just like his bib says.
He isn't eating solid foods yet, but is learning how to use a cup and spoon and is sitting in his big boy chair during meals. You might notice the puffy eyes in the sippy cup picture. He was sick. We were both sick for a couple of weeks, hence no new blogs. We are finally healthy and he is so fun. He weighed in at 18 pounds a couple of weeks ago.

Good Night!

Good night, happy dreams, see you in the morning, I love you!!
