Best Friends!

My sister-in-law has started faithfully blogging again and I am so glad to see pictures of her kids because they live so far away so I am going to try to do better so they can see pictures of us. I also like for Grandpa Gummer and Grandma Linda to see what our kids are up to. So here's an update for those of you who want to see the kids.

Colton is back from his mission and my kids absolutely love him. Sarah wanted to cuddle with him when he and Whit were over this week. Linden was 6 months old when he left. It's fun to have him home.
My kids love to brush their teeth by themselves. The other day they sat down on the floor outside of the bathroom and I just had to get a picture.

They have really started playing together. I came in the kitchen the other day to find them like this. The things they come up with really crack me up. They were reading and laughing together.

Our Sarah Babe had a bad week. She fell two different times and had a bruise on each eye and then fell from a chair and hit her nose so hard, I thought it was broken. The Dr. confirmed it was not, but she had quite the bruise on her nose. This picture doesn't really do it justice.

Linden loves to help me. We had just finished making rolls/cinnamon rolls. He is great help. He helped roll it out and cut the dough. He also sampled some dough and thought that was pretty fun. As you can see, he also had fun playing in the flour around the edges.

I couldn't resist!

I put on their big brother and little sister clothes and had to take a picture. Don't you just love Linden's spiky hair. He left it in his bath towel and the only thing I could get it to do was spike. I love these two!!!

Christmas 2010

As you will see from the following pictures, we had an awesome Christmas or Christmas week as we called it. We started in Idaho Falls before Christmas with Ryan's family and ended in Weston with my family on New Year's Eve with tons of fun in between.

The day we arrived in Idaho Falls, Grandpa Gummer took us to ride in a Semi truck at Challenger where he drives truck. Linden was so excited.

Sporting their Christmas Eve Pajamas!

Sarah is driving Linden's car from Santa. He asked for a Drive Wheel and a Screw and was so excited to find this car on Christmas morning. He snuck out of the room before us and when I got up minutes later, I found him driving his car and turning the key telling me it was the screw. They both thought Christmas was pretty great!

Linden is playing with a kitchen from Grandpa Gummer and Grandma Linda. They love it and fix mommy pancakes every day!

They are ready for church in their new Sunday Clothes!

We came home from Idaho Falls Sunday and went to the annual Beckstead Christmas Party on Monday. We had a great time playing the right/left game, musical chairs, pinatas, eating yummy food, and going over to Grandpa & Grandma's house afterward. Thanks Grandma for planning such a fun party.

Linden & Sarah love their cousins!!!

The last part of our Christmas week was spent at Grandpa Van and Grandma Greta's for New Year's Eve. I didn't get any pictures of that event, but here are pictures of the presents they enjoyed playing with after our party there.

Sarah got a chair to match Linden's. She is so excited and the fights over the chair have stopped.

Sarah's pretty dress up from Tanner. She loves to be pretty!

Instruments from Grandma Greta. They love to make music.

Lincoln logs and choo-choo train. Daddy built the train and the Woodward's Country Store and other houses. Linden loved it.

Linden and Sarah!

We had a Family Home Evening where we learned about the prophets. We looked at their pictures and sang this song for part of our lesson. Linden picked up this song. He can memorize songs really fast and loves to sing. He doesn't often perform for others so we are posting this so grandma's and grandpa's and aunts and uncles can hear him do it. He amazes us every day. Such a fun little guy!!!

Our Sarah Babe is a grinner as you will see in the beginning of this video. She is starting to communicate very well with signs and pointing, but is also picking up some words. She is very smart and knows what she wants and how to get it. She will go in Grandma Greta and Grandpa Van's store and say cracker and please. She always gets one.

Happy Halloween!!

We started at Grandpa Van and Grandma Greta's store. The kids instantly got their Dum Dum suckers and opened them. What do you do?, it's Halloween!!

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for letting us come to your house and trick-or-treat!

Our little train engineer had a great time. He could say Trick-or-treat this year and thanked everyone for the candy.

It didn't take our Sarah long to figure out the candy thing. She won a prize at our trunk-or-treat for cutest costume. I wore this costume when I was a baby. My mom and Grandma Jones made it. Sarah had a ball.

Linden didn't want to quit playing with cars at Grandma & Grandpa Beckstead's and really didn't want to leave. He loves going to visit them. Don't you love the mad scientist parents!!!

Memorial Day Weekend Moab Vacation!

When Ryan told people he was going to Moab, they told him to get a picture by the famous arches so that is exactly what he did!!!

What a smart alec!!!

Here's a group shot in Scott's Crack - named because Scott found this passageway in the rocks. It was pretty cool!!

Ryan and Linden in front of one of the double arches.

The Boys posing for a picture.

The group poses by the balanced rock.

Here's a family photo at the double arches. They were way cool!!

There was a playground across the road from our campsite. The kids loved swinging.

As you can see we have a little rock climber who isn't afraid of anything and also a law breaker as he picked flowers at Arches National Park.

Fun on the rocks and in the stroller!!!

We Went to the famous HOLE N' THE ROCK! Okay so not where the pioneers went, but a really cool house built in the rocks and then to a petting zoo.

Ryan came very close to kissing Cramer the Camel!!
The kids got to feed the animals and it was really fun!!
