Aunt Carly gave my kids a couple of dress up dresses and it has brought tons of fun to our house. Thanks Carly. Linden really wanted to be in a dress also in this picture, but I only had three. He is around too many girls.

One Saturday morning while Nate and Erin were here, Ryan and I were tending six kids. We had a great time. I love my nieces and nephews.

Isn't he just cute. He has the most kissable cheeks. He was playing with rocks.

The twins loved riding in the jeep. These two crack me up. The call each other Maggie Doodle and Sarah Babe. They are a week apart and act a lot a like and that is why we call them the twins.

Aunt Kaye came over and brought some new books for the kids. They all love reading books.

Kaye's lap wasn't big enough so we recruited Kacy to read to the boys.

Linden asked Elise to read him a book. She did a very good job and afterward told me that she had to imagine some of it. She is getting so grown up.

We went to Yellowstone last weekend with Ryan's family. It was great fun. I will probably post more pictures later, but here are the pictures with their cousins.

Here they were told to do thumbs up. I actually have several pictures of Linden attempting it and finally getting it, but this was a cute picture of all of them.

Salt Lake City!

Ryan is doing an internship for the LDS Church in Riverton, Utah this summer. The kids and I have been down to Salt Lake a couple of times to visit so far this summer because we hate being without him. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. Here are a few of our favorite things.

The Children's part of the Church History Museum!!!

We just discovered this on Thursday night, but the kids love to put on these skirts and dance in front of the mirror. There is a Spanish man and lady dancing in the background that they watch and try to follow. It is so fun.

They love fishing from Nephi's boat. Linden asks every day if they can go to the "USEUM" as he calls it.

The kids love to walk and hate to hold my hand. There is too much traffic and too many people so I did something I said I would never do and purchased leashes for my children. It is the only way to keep them with me and safe.

As you can see they are cute little backpacks and we carry water bottles and snacks to be eaten somewhere along the way.

They love the water fountains or waterfalls as they call them. We walk around temple square and look at all of them. They won't go back until we have seen them all. We went up on the roof of the conference center and the missionary let them put their hands in that fountain and they loved it.

They like to go see Jesus. I finally took my camera and the two of them sat right down and posed for the picture. They crack me up.

Playing on the balcony is a favorite and a lifesaver because they hate being cooped up inside. I was sick this past week and didn't feel like venturing out the first few days so the balcony was a great place for the kids to hang out. Ryan put a fence up to keep them safe. The apartment is on the 7th floor.

Happy Easter!

The first two pictures are not Easter related but I had to post them because they are so cute!!
The kids run to the back door and sing "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home" everyday. I tried to capture a picture of them kissing daddy, but as you can see I was only partially successful!

So I could say that this picture was Easter morning and we were all ready for church, but our family didn't go to church on Easter because we were visited by the flu bug. Needless to say Easter Eve was eventful at our house with the kids getting four showers between them and mom and dad did four loads of laundry. What an adventure.

Saturday evening the kids were feeling good and had watched our neighbors hunt for Easter eggs across from our house. I was not feeling good, but decided that we better have an Easter Egg Hunt. So we took them outside to find eggs. They loved it!!

The kids loved gathering eggs and showing off their baskets.

The Easter Bunny brought them water color painting books so we spent some time painting on Easter.

This was taken this morning in their new Jump-o-lene. They are feeling much better today. Yeah!!

They are married!!!

My little sister Whitney got married to Colton on Saturday! They have liked each other since they were Freshman in high school so this was a very special day!! We love you guys!!! It was a cool day because all of my siblings and spouses were in the temple together for the first time.

We had to pose by the fountain for a family picture. Notice Linden's shirt. He had to lean over and get it wet so for every picture he will have a wet shirt.

This is where the kids wanted to hang out. We had to bribe them with the fountain so we could get pictures of them. They did pretty good at posing for pictures. Aren't they cute?

They are such a cute couple and we are so excited to add Colton to our family officially. He has been part of it for a long time.

Just an Update

We were getting ready to go somewhere and knew the kids would go to sleep in the car so we hadn't put them down for naps. When we went in the living room to check on them, this is what we found. Sarah had fallen asleep on Linden and Linden was asleep with her until we walked into the room to take the picture, hence the fake sleeping he is doing.

He was so happy and talked about it for weeks. Every time we checked on him he had a big smile on his face. He loves his little sister and she loves her big brother.

Daddy went to a big Nascar Race and brought the kids back "NASCAR" shirts and Linden calls them. They are proud to wear the big number "24"!

We went to the Manti Temple with Natalie and Paul to attend our roommate Barbara's wedding. We had to get pictures by the temple.

Aren't they the cutest kids!!

This was up on the hills above the temple. Linden and Sydney were actually kissing each other, but we missed the kiss. They love each other. After the temple we went to Loa to visit Nate and Erin, but I don't have any pictures of that. We had a great trip.

I was cleaning up the kitchen and the kids were really quiet. This is what I found them doing. What good kids!!!

Jackie surprised us and her and her family came up for Whitney's bridal shower. It was so fun to have them up here. Linden and Sarah love Jackie and Billy!! Thanks for coming to see us!!

Sarah Photoshoot!

So I took Sarah to Kiddie Kandids to get 18 month pictures and it was a disaster. There was only one person working and so we had to wait for another person to view their pictures. By the time it was Sarah's turn she was really grumpy. I decided to have my own photo session with Sarah and this is what I got.

Okay so this wasn't part of the photo shoot, but Sarah was the only one awake the other morning and I needed to get in the shower so I turned on her favorite Baby Signing Time and jumped in the shower. When I got out and went to check on her, this is what I found. She has figured out zippers and if it has a zipper she unzips it. She was having trouble walking. She is a very independent woman!!

Notice the cute pigtails. I am so proud that we can do pigtails now. She really is getting a lot of hair. Yeah!!!

Linden couldn't let us take pictures without jumping in. This picture cracks me up because of the way Sarah is looking at Linden. She absolutely adores him unless he is jumping on her or pestering her.

Best Friends!

My sister-in-law has started faithfully blogging again and I am so glad to see pictures of her kids because they live so far away so I am going to try to do better so they can see pictures of us. I also like for Grandpa Gummer and Grandma Linda to see what our kids are up to. So here's an update for those of you who want to see the kids.

Colton is back from his mission and my kids absolutely love him. Sarah wanted to cuddle with him when he and Whit were over this week. Linden was 6 months old when he left. It's fun to have him home.
My kids love to brush their teeth by themselves. The other day they sat down on the floor outside of the bathroom and I just had to get a picture.

They have really started playing together. I came in the kitchen the other day to find them like this. The things they come up with really crack me up. They were reading and laughing together.

Our Sarah Babe had a bad week. She fell two different times and had a bruise on each eye and then fell from a chair and hit her nose so hard, I thought it was broken. The Dr. confirmed it was not, but she had quite the bruise on her nose. This picture doesn't really do it justice.

Linden loves to help me. We had just finished making rolls/cinnamon rolls. He is great help. He helped roll it out and cut the dough. He also sampled some dough and thought that was pretty fun. As you can see, he also had fun playing in the flour around the edges.
